Well, as soon as WordPress figures out how to allow me to import from “new blogger” I think I’ll be moving over there. Here is what I’m thinking about for my new home http://elizabethslittleblog.wordpress.com/. Feedback welcome. Of course, www.elizabethslittleblog.com will always be my main home, thanks to my amazing best friend who got me my own freakin’ domain name, but eventually I’ll do it through wordpress and not blogger. Hurry hurry wordpress. There are apparently more than just a few of us who want to move over to you as soon as we can import our stuff from blogger.
I hope google doesn’t read this and mess my blog up as revenge for leaving. If it isn’t here tomorrow, you know why.

**Note that this post is outdated because we ARE currently on WordPress. The blogspot address will not work after a while.**
Currently my blog is at www.elizabethslittleblog.com or http://internelizabeth.blogspot.com but as soon as Word Press figures out a way for me to import from “new” Blogger, then I think I will move here. www.elizabethslittleblog.com will of course stay the same. Feedback on the layout and design is welcome. Wow, word press sure is much easier and fun to use than blogger. Guess google can’t do everything right.

Hmm. Well. I started trying to label my posts and right away I realized that my blogging cousin Lydia http://kylydia.wordpress.com/ who suggested I switch to Word Press might be right. The labels are all messed up - something seems confused on Google’s end. Grrr. Because I know how all my readers are just DYING for the posts to have labels, right?
On a personal note, rough draft of thesis on the sexual purity movement in evangelical Christianity has been turned in. I hope to blog on this soon. AND paper on fundamentalists megachurches has been turn in. Time to get back into the swing of things at church (I missed three weeks while in Germany, but if feels like much longer!) and clean up our apartment, my the ongoing goal of my life.
Exciting stuff coming up at FUUSM - spring adult education where I will get to teach a four week course on liberation theologies. I’m so excited. And we will have a blessing of the animals in April. How fun!
Now to try to fix labels. Oh, and the Annual UU Blog Awards are coming up soon. My first year to be able to enter! Oh, how exciting! In case you didn’t see it, this little blog ranked a whopping #27 in terms of blogs visited from UUpdates, the UU blog aggregator. Exciting stuff!

**Note that this post is now out dated because, as I am sure you can see, there are now labels/tags on my posts.**
I’m sure you were all waiting with bated breath for me to add labels to my blog posts so that you could easily, for instance, access all the posts related to “politics”, “Unitarian Universalism”, or “cats”. However, to my great dismay the Blogger/Google gods have prevented my blog from switching over to the new version of Blogger even though my blog does not meet any of the restrictions that they list for blogs that will not yet be able to switch over. Grrr. In anticipation, however, these are the categories that you can look forward to…
Unitarian Universalism
Higher Education
Social Justice Issues
Book Reviews
Vegan Tips and Cooking
Vegetarianism
Cats
Environment
Sustainable/Simple Living
Personal Posts
First Unitarian Universalist Society of Middleboro
Conservative/Evangelical Christianity
Politics
Funny Stuff
Chronic Illness
Celebrities
Blog/Administrative Issues
Democracy/Democratic Theory
Feminism
Feminist Theology
Queer Theology
Liberation Theology
General Assembly
Stoles and Ministerial Attire
Congregational Life
Community Ministry
I wonder if this is too many. Guess we’ll see. Now to work on the thesis.

Hello faithful readers. I do not want to pressure anyone to use the “comment” feature of this blog. Yet, I also want to make sure those who would like to use it can do so. This is an excellent way to give me feedback on the blog and, ahem, on other things that might be on your minds if, say, for instance, you attend FUUSM and would like to comment on a sermon. The beautiful part of this is that I allow anonymous comments so, as long as you don’t purposely try to hurt my feelings (eg Elizabeth, every sermon you’ve ever given has been awful.) this is a great way to share both praise and gentle critique. Or just to share thoughts in general.
But how do I comment, you ask? The second post on this blog is about commenting so if you make sure you go to http://internelizabeth.blogspot.com (which is likely where you already are reading this) just scroll down to the second post and it gives directions as to how to comment. Want a personal lesson? You can email me (elizabeth199@gmail.com) or just ask.

(Scroll down to see the introductory post.)
While I am sure many of my readers are computer whizzes, I am assuming a minimal level of computer literacy for those that might just be venturing into cyberland or who need a little extra guidance.
There is a way to post comments to my entries. Then other people (if they like) can post comments to your comments and online discussions can take place.
At the bottom of each entry there is a little place that says “comments”.
If you click on that, a new screen will appear and in the upper right hand corner there will be a box where you can write your comments.
You don’t have to log in to post comments. You can post anonymously which I sort of discourage or if you don’t have a user account, you can post by clicking “other” and then just writing your name in the space that says “name”.
If you have questions, you may email me at elizabeth199 - @ - gmail.com (you will need to copy and paste the email into your email program and remove the spaces and dashes from the address. I have not written it out completely because there are programs that can search the internet for whole email addresses and then send out spam (junk email) to those addresses.)
